Endangered Species Chocolate adds to finance, marketing teams
Mission-driven chocolate company hires Director of Finance, Marketing Associate



INDIANAPOLIS – Endangered Species Chocolate (ESC), the number one selling brand of all-
natural chocolate (SPINS data, July 2006), has named Amber Winchester its Director of
Finance and Renée Sweany as Marketing Associate.

Amber Winchester, Director of Finance
Winchester brings a wealth of accounting and finance experience to the ESC team. Most
recently, she was an accounting manager for San Diego-based Sensoria Corporation. Prior to
that, she was corporate controller for Information Systems Laboratories, also in San Diego.

A graduate of Purdue University, Winchester has a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Renée Sweany, Marketing Associate
Sweany joins the ESC team from BitWise Solutions (Carmel, Ind.), where she served as
marketing manager. She has more than nine years of experience in a variety of marketing roles,
with a depth of experience in online marketing techniques, including search engine optimization.
She also worked for Clarian Health Partners and Baker & Daniels, both in Indianapolis.

Sweany has a bachelor’s degree in communication from Valparaiso University. She is on the
board of the Saint Christopher Center and is actively involved with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful.
