ENDANGERED SPECIES CHOCOLATE 10% GIVE BACK PROGRAM We have a rigorous process in which partners are selected based on their aggressive and clear mission to help species, habitat and/or humanity. Starting in 2007, Endangered Species Chocolate will partner with the two selected nonprofits for a minimum of two years in order to have a greater, more long-lasting impact on their mission. Endangered Species Chocolate also seeks opportunities to have a positive impact on the farming communities that harvest the all-natural and organic cocoa that makes our milk and dark chocolate. We have begun collecting applications for our 2009-10 10% Give Back Program. Please complete the 10% Give Back Partner Application and return it before August 31, 2008 to be considered. All applicants must be designated tax exempt under the IRS code 501(c )(3). New partners will be announced by October 31, 2008. In addition to receiving 10% of Endangered Species Chocolate’s net profits annually, 10% Give Back Partners have the unique opportunity to create promotions with chocolate and discount codes on chocolatebar.com. We welcome creative ideas for forming partnerships that truly further the mission to spread environmental awareness and ignite compassion for all life on our planet. COMMUNITY OUTREACH The Humane Society of Indianapolis - providing shelter and care to animals in need on their way to loving homes since 1905. The Peace Learning Center - an Indianapolis-based community educational institution teaching peace building and conflict resolution skills to youth and adults. PLC establishes safe and common ways to deal with conflicts and differences. To kick-off our community outreach program in 2007, Endangered Species Chocolate helped Indianapolis Public School #65 clean up their outdoor lab. We spent the morning weeding, mulching and pruning. |
