Go big for World Fair Trade Day! + Giveaway

GREAT NEWS! Each and every year, Endangered Species Chocolate is growing.  And that means we’re buying more and more Fairtrade chocolate! In fact, all of us are buying more Fairtrade products like bananas, coffee, and (our favorite) CHOCOLATE. Thanks to people like you, more hard-working farmers around the world can build better lives and brighter futures. Get ready, May 12-14, to join in on the world’s biggest Fairtrade Celebration!

Why celebrate? Because Fairtrade has come a LONG way over the last three decades. Just think, Fairtrade launched the first Fairtrade product – coffee – in 1988. Now, almost 30 years later, more than 35,000 Fairtrade products are sold worldwide. That’s something we should all be proud of!

It’s also a reason to celebrate in big way! Want to join in? Simply plan to treat the people you care about to Fairtrade products like coffee, bananas, or chocolate between now and May 14th. Register your celebration on the Fairtrade Challenge map and share your celebration on social media using #fairtradechallege!

How is the Endangered Species Chocolate team celebrating? We’ll be treating our fair city to samples of our fine, Fairtrade chocolate! Pop over and meet us at Indianapolis’s Monument Circle anytime between 11am and 2pm. We’ll have lots of cool info on how farming communities in West Africa benefit from the Fairtrade Premiums your Endangered Species Chocolate purchases support. We can’t wait to see you there!

Not nearby? No worries! We’re also hosting a celebration right here on our blog. For a chance to win this #FairtradeChallenge Bundle, leave a reply below, telling us in 3 words or less, how buying Fairtrade makes you feel! We’ll announce our winner on May 15th. Open to U.S. shipping addresses only.

Prize pack includes an assortment of our finest Fairtrade chocolates, a Fairtrade Ecoist purse (made from recycled chocolate wrappers!), and Music From The Chocolate Lands CD.
