The National Forest Foundation mission is to engage Americans in promoting the health and public enjoyment of our National Forests. National Forests and Grasslands are at the core of America’s natural riches, and yet, today these treasures are threatened by unprecedented challenges.
The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund is the world’s largest and longest-running organization dedicated entirely to gorilla conservation. Founded by Dian Fossey in 1967, the Fossey Fund protects endangered gorillas in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo every day, while also studying how they live, training future scientists and conservationists in Africa, and helping local communities through education and livelihoods programs.
All of our partners, past and present, do amazing work—and we’re proud to provide ongoing support to previous True Impact organizations through our Alumni Program.
